採用適合清酒釀造的大米，並使用傳統的「技術」來襯托出大米的風味，從而釀造出輕盈柔滑的本釀造清酒。
而「菰樽」代表著日本傳統文化，遠在日本江戶時代，人們為了防止搬運時做成破損，在酒樽外綑綁用「菰」（草類）所編成的繩子，日本人亦會在新年的吉時以菰樽進行「開鏡」儀式來以討個好兆頭。「豆樽」是菰樽中最小的，容量約為300ml。
